Plucky Survivors See America 2010: February 6, 2010

And we’re… stopped.  Or paused, rather.

A confluence of events has led us to decide to press the pause button on our Plucky Mini trip.  The bad weather is expected to continue today and considering some of the mountain passes and desolate stretches of desert we’d have to drive through, it just didn’t seem prudent.

In addition, Mary is fine (don’t worry), but she didn’t have the best of nights (despite the cushy Sofitel beds) and all agreed that continuing on might not be in anyone’s best interest.

But we got a good Plucky day out of it – we got to see the Museum of Death and the Magic Castle and sleep in cushy beds.  And we’re still going to do the last part of this trip that we had planned – a trip to the Griffith Park Observatory tomorrow night with a big Plucky caravan of friends and family.  And we are determined to try again for the section that we had to cancel.  After all, how can you not go to the Bunny Museum?!

In other words, fear not Plucky Readers… we’re not done yet.
